Me...Jane is a 1-hour Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) musical about Jane Goodall discovering her passion for animal research at a young age. Starting in May of 2022, I spent 5 months cleaning & re-building the show's Piano/Vocal score, practicing my playing all day, & orchestrating (with help from Joe & Sydney) for a band of 6 players, as well as creating tracks & resources for actors to learn the show.
I accompanied all rehearsals over the course of a 6 week rehearsal process, & then keyboard-conducted all performances. Our band included 2 keyboards, 2 guitars, an electric bass, & a drum kit. Our show was performed & rehearsed in collaboration with ImagineU, & we ran for 3 weekends in the Louis Theatre at the Virginia Wadsworth Wirtz Center for the Performing Arts in Evanston, Illinois.
